Sandboarding Safari
During your stay at 1770, don’t miss out on the ultimate Sandboarding Adventure in the Southern Great Barrier Reef. It's great fun for the younger or young-at-heart market. Your adventure starts as soon as you board the LARC! at 1770, we will traverse water and land on our way to our Sandboarding playground.
Situated around 30 km along the coastline of Bustard Bay, Middle Island hosts an abundance of Australian wildlife and a world-class sand blow, spanning a 2.5km stretch of dunes, which creates a safe environment for sand boarding.
